Love Scuba Diving? Maybe it's time to go PRO

The PADI Divemaster course is the first professional level in the PADI system and develops your leadership abilities by training you to supervise dive activities and assist instructors with student divers. It is the first step in your scuba diving career. During the PADI Divemaster course you will learn about supervising certified divers, assisting with students, risk management, the physiology of diving, dive equipment, the physics of diving, decompression theory, the recreational dive planner, diving skills, the underwater environment and how to independently conduct certain PADI programs and courses.

The Divemaster is the first step on the PADI professional ladder and the more you put into the course the more you will get out of it. You will be assigned a Lead Instructor who will mentor you during the course. This personal touch is what makes all the difference. You will be working with many other instructors at LSD during your training but the Lead Instructor is there to be your guide to becoming the best Divemaster possible. This close working relationship often continues long after the course has been completed.

All of the academic and confined water sessions are conducted by senior instructors at our purpose built dive centre in London. Academic modules are carried out in state of the art classrooms with the confined water sessions conducted in our on-site heated pool. The open water work is generally carried out at local dive lake although trips to the coast and other inland sites can be arranged.

The most important part of the course comes after you finish. Once you have the DM licence how do you get the experience? At LSD we offer immediate freelance work and unlimited course shadowing to all of our trainees to get that vital experience needed to progress in the dive industry. LSD has recently been awarded by PADI for our ‘Outstanding Contribution to the Diving Industry’ so join us today and become part of the team.

The Divemaster course is paid for but the certification is earned and we are extremely confident that you will have an amazing time on an amazing course.
